On Friday, March 17th, young representatives of Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia gathered in Tirana, in order to officially launch the Regional Youth Leadership and Mobility Program, i.e. their participation in it.
For a total of 19 young participants, this two-day event was an opportunity to meet each other during the first day, to hear detailed information about the Regional Youth Leadership and Mobility Program from the perspective of the project partners, and to learn everything about the activities they will experience during the following year.
During the second day, the young participants, through team work, began to develop public advocacy plans, for which the project proposals submitted during the competition application process served as a basis. In this way, young participants will come up with the idea of how to initiate change in the community or encourage the solution of identified problems, through the process of public advocacy.
Apart from young representatives from Serbia, Ivana Cenerić and Biljana Stojanović from the Centre for Education Policy (CEP) also participated at the launch event in Tirana.
The project is jointly implemented by CEP, Scidev from Albania and the Youth Educational Forum from North Macedonia and supported by the Foundations for Open Society from Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia.
